Brew Digital is being impersonated
- Brew Digital
We’ve been made aware of a string of third-party websites and messages from individuals falsely presenting themselves as affiliated with Brew Digital and attempting to request payments for training or job opportunities.
To be absolutely clear: Brew Digital has no connection with these sites or persons, and will never ask for money in exchange for roles, interviews, training or access to opportunities. Our official and only website is https://brewdigital.com. Be highly suspicious of any incoming employment opportunity that requires you to pay out before you can earn.
What's happened?
We have identified several websites where our branding, company information, and staff details have been misappropriated and misused by individuals falsely claiming to be associated with our agency. They have used our reputable name to extract money from honest jobseekers, and we are doing all that we reasonably can to limit the effectiveness of these impersonators.
How can I be sure if it's really Brew Digital or not?
Please note the following:
Our only official website: All genuine information and services are hosted exclusively at https://www.brewdigital.com. We are also part of The Adaptavist Group, whose official website is https://www.theadaptavistgroup.com.
No recruitment fees: We will never ask for money for job opportunities, interviews, or training.
No WhatsApp: We do not use WhatsApp in our recruitment processes, and nor do we use it to request payments.
How are we responding?
We take this breach of our brand integrity very seriously, particularly knowing that it has caused financial harm to honest jobseekers. Our legal teams are currently investigating the matter further, and we have already taken the following steps:
Domain reports: We have reported the fraudulent websites to the domain registrars and demanded their immediate removal. We will continue to do this for every new site that impersonates us.
Authorities: We have reported these incidents to the relevant authorities to assist in a wider investigation and we are encouraging anyone impacted to do the same..
Technology partners: We have reported these incidents to the technology providers whose platforms are being used by bad actors.
Ongoing monitoring: We are actively monitoring for new iterations of these scams to protect our clients and the public.
How you can help
If you have been contacted by these scammers or have any information regarding their operations, we would be grateful if you could share those details with us. This information is invaluable to our legal team and the authorities as they combat these fraudulent activities.
If you are in doubt about the legitimacy of a message, please do not engage. Instead, contact us directly via the official channels provided on our real website, and be highly suspicious of any incoming employment opportunity that requires you to pay in before you can earn.
