  • What is Confluence?

    Confluence is a powerful team collaboration tool created by Atlassian. It provides a shared workspace where teams can create, organise, and discuss work, turning conversations into actionable plans. We specialise in transforming the standard Confluence interface into a highly engaging and intuitive branded experience.

  • Do I need to install anything?

    If you are opting for Company Hub then all that is required is a Confluence for Cloud Premium subscription. For Refined or other theming platforms you would need to install the corresponding application from the Atlassian Marketplace. We are happy to work together with your existing systems team to support you.

  • How do we provide feedback on the designs?

    Our design process is highly collaborative. Starting with initial discovery workshops, we work closely with you to understand your vision. There are dedicated feedback stages built into the project, where you can review and approve designs before any development work begins, ensuring the final result meets your exact needs.

  • Do you provide training on how to manage my Confluence?

    Yes. We believe in empowering your team. As part of our handover, we provide comprehensive training sessions tailored to your specific setup. We'll walk your administrators and key users through the new features and structure, ensuring they can manage the space confidently from day one.

  • How do you bill for this work?

    We typically bill for theming work on a project basis. After an initial discovery phase where we define the scope and requirements with you, we provide a detailed, transparent quote for the entire project. For ongoing support and enhancements, we can also offer a monthly retainer.

  • How easy is it to add new features to our Confluence instance later?

    Very! We build our confluence theming to support the future which means you can put new pages and layouts live after launch or if using native functionality, such as Company Hub then you can continue installing applications from the Atlassian Marketplace to extend your instance as normal. If you need a staged rollout or want to build in phases we are more than happy to manage the project to support this.

  • What is the timeline for Confluence theming?

    This will depend on the project goals and the scale of your Confluence (or JSM) instance. Migrations to cloud combined with theming will take the longest as we must ensure content has successfully been moved, whereas a fresh instance with new content will be relatively quick to do. This means engagements can run anywhere between a couple of weeks for Company Hub to multiple months for larger, more comprehensive transformations.
